2025 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is set to take place in a city and comune in the Metropolitan City of Bologna called Imola on 18 May.
What to know about the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix
Established in 2020, the event takes the name "Emilia-Romagna" from the Italian region where the circuit, Imola, is located.
The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 reduced the number of Grands Prix held in a season, so Formula One established this race in Imola, where it has remained on the calendar since then.

The Miami Grand Prix, which was the sixth round of the 2025 Formula One World Championship, was won by Oscar Piastri of McLaren on 4 May.
Lando Norris of McLaren and Mercedes' George Russell finished second and third, respectively, at the Miami International Autodrome.
Standings
Piastri is still placed at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings, having won four races in the current season.
McLaren driver Lando Norris and Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen are placed second and third, respectively, in the standings, as they look to catch Piastri.
Looking at the World Constructors' Championship standings, McLaren are placed at the top, followed by Mercedes, Red Bull Racing and Ferrari respectively.
Favourites
All eyes will be on the top three drivers, Piastri, Verstappen and Norris at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, having done well so far this season.
Russell, who is placed fourth in the World Drivers' Championship standings, cannot be ruled out of winning the race after securing a podium spot in Miami.

"Today was definitely an eventful one," Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton, who won the 2020 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, said after finishing third in the Miami Grand Prix sprint event.
"We put in a strong performance in the Sprint, which was a great result given the challenging weather and our starting position.
"I suggested the switch to softs, and the team executed a fantastic pit stop, that really made the difference."
